The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 is an act that aims to streamline the current systems and procedures of government services. It is the landmark law of the Duterte administration that addresses priority #3 of the 0+10 Point Socio-economic Agenda which aims to improve competitiveness and ease of doing business in the Philippines.
On May 28, 2018, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed into law, RA 11032: An Act Promoting Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services, Amending for the Purpose Republic Act No. 9485, Otherwise Known as the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, and for Other Purposes.

Transacting with Government should be hassle free. The law prescribes processing time. If documents are complete and in order, it be easier and faster to get a passport, driver’s license, birth certificate, NBI clearance, etc.

Where starting a business or running a business, the issuance of business permits and licenses must be simple, speedy, and streamlines in all government agencies.
For Public Employees and Officials
