11 March 2022 – The Social Security System (SSS) is one of the institutions that has proactively responded to our push to streamline and reengineer processes in order to improve the efficiency of government services. ARTA witnessed several initiatives by the state-run pension fund to make its services more accessible in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act 11032.

On behalf of the Anti-Red Tape Authority, we thank outgoing SSS President and CEO Aurora “Baby” Ignacio for her strides to better fulfill the needs of SSS members and beneficiaries. Under her helm, SSS has been a key partner in many ARTA programs and initiatives, including the Central Business Portal and the Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), among others.

As we welcome the new SSS chief, President and CEO Michael Regino, we have high hopes that the partnership between the ARTA and SSS will continue and remain strong.

I look forward to meeting with him to see how else we can collaborate to further improve SSS services and how we can continue to push for streamlining, reengineering, and efficiency in the agency.
