12 February 2020 – The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Director General Jeremiah Belgica and the Consortium of the EU and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung co-funded Local Government Integrity Circles (LoGIC) Project Country Representative Dr. Stefan Maria Jost, signed a Memorandum of Understanding today setting forth the rights, responsibilities, and cooperation procedures for the implementation of the LoGIC’s Integrity Circles Project. Also present as witness is ARTA Deputy Director General Ernesto Perez.

The Integrity Circle is a multi-sectoral group that aims to provide platform for the exchange of best practice and cooperation for the promotion of ease of doing business in the locality. ARTA and the LoGIC Network have come together to collaborate in order to advocate R.A. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 through the development of integrity mechanisms and models of transparent, effective small business and investment registration and promotion procedures, in cooperation with civil society, the business sector, and decision makers in the Local Government Units.
