4 May 2021 – Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Director General Jeremiah Belgica is taking a lead role in the upcoming virtual interfaith prayer amid the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

In a meeting hosted by the Office of the Presidential Adviser for Religious Affairs (OPARA) headed by Dr. Grepor “Butch” Belgica this morning, the ARTA czar, who is a known pastor, was named as chairperson for government relations.

His primary task is to coordinate and connect with other government agencies to ensure support for the activity.

To help him, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade and Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra were designated as his co-chairpersons.

The said virtual interfaith prayer dubbed as “The Whole Nation Pray as One! Heal as One!” is happening on the 30th of May in view of a presidential directive to the OPARA to undertake such activity along with different faith-based organizations as COVID-19 continues to hound many nations.

“When he (the President) made a proclamation for a National Week of Prayer ang sabi ko po sa kanya noon was the most pleasing for the Lord will be for him to lead in calling the entire nation to come before the Lord who is the maker of heaven and earth,“ Presidential Adviser Belgica said.
